Just realised that it's been 3 weeks since my last post....oops!
All is going pretty well around here... am still pregnant and my belly is now starting to pop out - put on my jeans this morning and they definitely felt a bit tighter around my tummy! My first ante-natal appointment was quite boring - lots of paperwork and stuff - but I did get a sample bag with some disinfectant and stuff so that was kind of exciting.
We still haven't sold our house in Brissy so it looks like we'll miss out on buying the one up here that we really wanted.. oh well, it wasn't meant to be. Now we'll just get one that's a bit cheaper and that we can do up ourselves... in the past we have always replaced the carpets and painted when we've moved in so I'm kinda looking forward to that. Although Noel will have to do all the heavy lifting and stuff this time.. he he.
Haven't been scrapping a lot lately... have just been catching up on layouts for my kids classes that I do at the shop. But here are a few that I did a while ago....
The first one is of the cat that we had while living in Jeddah - he was a stray kitten that we found around our house (there is no shortage of them over there!). Sadly, when we left we had to put him down as we couldn't bring him home with us and we didn't know anyone that would take him. There was no way we were just going to let him become a street cat again.... he was way too spoilt!

In other exciting news, my Uncle and Auntie will be in Rocky tomorrow to drop off my ding desk! Ok, there's a story to that one.... when we were kids my Mum had a sewing table that had a cupboard at the bottom. Whenever you opened the door it would make a "ding" noise because of the catch on it. Now this doesn't sound very exciting but it used to keep my brother and I amused playing with it ( I was only about 8, my brother 5). When my brother moved out of home he took it with him and then when he moved to Melbourne he couldn't fit it in and was going to sell it. You can imagine my horror at the thought! So I went down and picked it up and it's been sitting at my Mum's house since. My Dad was then going to bring it up to Rocky but he got stuck at my Uncle's place a few weeks ago. So now finally, I will have it in my possession!! Now you'd think that it was worth something but it's not - it's just made out of cheap plywood - but it has great sentimental value!
Now a few more layouts and I'm off... the first was for the In Your Skin Challenges that we are running at Embellished. The theme for this one was Nose.

And this is for one of the Dares challenges - to use a newspaper article or ad....

Ok, till next time!
